Happyhounds Dog Boarding Kennels, Meath, Ireland.
Epitaph to our boy Dudley......

“He was blond and perfect. He greeted everybody the same, with a wagging tail and a happy face. He never grumbled, snarled, or begrudged anybody in all his 12 years. He loved people and he was our inspiration for the kennels. His highlight was going to see the boarders everyday and he was so calming, gentle, affectionate and loyal without exception. We three were a family and throughout the years we went everywhere together. Losing him has not only left a void in our lives, but also the lives of our boarders and everybody who knew him. He was our best friend and our lives will never be the same again.”

Kay and Nick Palmer

Do not stand with me and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the stars that shine at night.
Do not stand with me and cry,
I am not there, I did not die...

Weep not for me though I am gone
Into that gentle night
Grieve if you will, but not for long
Upon my soul’s sweet flight.

I am at peace, my soul’s at rest
There is no need for tears.
For with your love I was so blessed
For all those many years.

There is no pain, I suffer not,
The fear now all is gone.
Put now these things out of your thoughts,
In your memory I live on.

Remember not my fight for breath
Remember not the strife
Please do not dwell upon my death,
But celebrate my life.
